Isaiah 30:15b
God said, through Isaiah, “In repentance and rest you will be saved. In quietness and trust is your strength.”
God’s way is through repentance, 1 John 1:9, and rest, not through worry or doing things, but rest. I always try to fix things or worry about them, like whether we will be able to go to Togo.
I believe that God is showing me that those actions don’t accomplish anything. I must take God at His word and rest in Him.
After all, He created all things and through Him all things are held together. Whether we go to Togo or not is a small thing for Him. And His way will bring Him glory.
What a reassuring way to think of things.
