This is the response to God by:
-Abraham (Genesis 22:1, 7, 11)
-Jacob (Genesis 46:2)
-Moses (Exodus 3:4)
-Isaiah (Isaiah 6:8)
Is this my response also? I pray that it be so.
My life has been full of travel of late: Scotland on vacation, Tampa Florida to help with funeral preparations for my brother, Ukraine to help with the Christmas program for orphans, the Dominican Republic for medical outreach.
But am I really present when I study my Bible every morning?
And am I present to write? To finish the story that’s been percolating in my head for so long?
Dear LORD, please quiet the noise in my head that is not from You. Focus my mind on showing your love through this novel.
